Scott and Jenny Morrison began attending the same Baptist church in Sydney as my family back in the early 1990s. This was the church where I was sexually abused as a child. Eventually, Scott joined the leadership team, becoming an elder and giving the occasional Sunday sermon, no doubt honing speaking skills he’d later take with him to Canberra.
